Since staying home with my little one, I have officially become a blogaholic! Not only do I need a blogervention for my own blog but I need some relief from stalking other peoples blogs as well!!

I will say I have come across some pretty fantastic bloggers and have learned some pretty fantastic little blog tricks along the way.

Enough is enough!

The simple things...

Growing up I remember my measures of happiness. Through my early childhood years it was as simple as whether or not my bike was in good working order. Through my teen years it was how many friends I had in middle and high school or whether I made the cheerleading squad. Through my early adulthood I measured my happiness around my college career, what job I had and what guy I might be dating. As trivial as these things sound, they were a major part of my life. As I approached my 30th birthday, I received the best gift I could ever ask for. A healthy baby boy. My family is by far the most important aspect of my life now. It is my ONLY measure of happiness. Growing up my parents used to tell me and my siblings that they would do anything for us. I never understood what that meant until Maxwell was born. It's the simple things that mean the most to me...
  • the sweet look on his face when he wakes up and sees his mommy or daddy
  • the way he cuddles in our neck when we hold him
  • the HOURS a day we stare at him just to see if he will do something new today
  • his constant noises...grunt, grunt, grunt...his way of chatting with us
  • how he starts snoring when he is in a deep sleep
  • the naps mommy or daddy sneek when he is laying on our chest
  • the funny faces he makes when he is sleeping
  • hearing him breathe
  • feeding him
  • his bright eyes when he discovers something new
  • wondering what he is thinking about
  • wondering what he is dreaming about
  • watching him yawn and stretch when he is about to fall asleep

This list could go on for days! The bond Garry and I formed the day we married has grown beyond measure caring for Max. I will eternally be grateful to my husband for giving me the best gift I have ever received. I love being Garry's wife and I wouldn't not change one thing about our life!

My fav TV shows!!

As I post this blog, I am fairly certain no one really cares what TV shows happen to capture my attention these days but as summer rolls around, I am wanting to pay tribute to the mindless drama that keeps me entertained throughout the winter!

Weeds is a Showtime wonder about a suburban mom turned marijuana dealer. Love it!

Every new season of The Bachelor/Bacelorette I SWEAR I won't watch but I just can't resist the awkward and often embarrasing shenanigans of the men and women trying to find love on national TV!
The Office is one of the BEST shows on TV. Nuff said!

United States of Tara is hilarious! Diablo Cody (Juno writer) created this show about a family who's mom has multiple personality disorder. Whenever she is stressed, she transforms into one of her alternate personalities: wild and flirty teenager T; old-fashioned housewife Alice; a male, loud, beer-drinking Vietnam vet Buck; a wierd little farrel creature, Gimme; Tara's "therapist" of sorts, Shoshanna; and an infantile representation of Tara when she was 5 years old, Chicken. Awesome!
Glee is great because it has AMAZING music and pretty great acting also. The kids in the show are hilarious and it totally reminds me of my high school days in show choir! Just kidding, I was never in show choir but I totally would have been after seeing this show!

The Real Housewives of Atlanta, New York, New Jersey and Orange County are possibly the trashiest TV shows I watch! I am totally addicted to these crazy bitches!!! Garry judges me each and every time I flip to Bravo but I endure hours of his snarky comments and open judgement if it means I get to enjoy these ladies going at each other like a bunch of badgers hopped up on crack! LOVE THEM ALL!!!!

Nurse Jackie is another brilliant Showtime drama about a nurse addicted to prescription pain pills. Edie Falco's character is hilarious and super bitchy...I heart Jackie!

Big Love is about poligamy. By bestie Allison is addicted to all things poligamy so I started watching this show so I could relate to her more...it's pretty fabulous.

I secretly want to own a bakery and bake fabulous wedding cakes and super yummy pastries so Ace of Cakes and The Cake Boss are super fun to watch. They come up with some of the most amazing designs for cakes.
I tune into alot more shows than these but I am starting to get embarrased about the amount of TV I watch so I'm gonna wrap up my tribute to the boob tube!
